I re-established my training business ASK in 2020 after being retrenched due to the COVID pandemic. Many of my colleagues and friends in hospitality are in the same boat and much training will be needed going forward as many staff have found other jobs to provide food on the table. My passion is training and developing staff in the industry on the continent in order that we exceed our tourists and guests expectations, improving and growing tourism as a proud African. Tourism could be our leading industry going forward. Tourism is integral in the future of our continent providing revenue, jobs and sustaining the environment.
I am a multiskilled facilitator and assessor with over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry working in 4 and 5 star properties in various positions including hotel management, quality assurance, training, food preparation, housekeeping and food and beverage service.
NOT TO brag BUT…
I was also well recognised as an award winning housekeeper of the year awarded by SATOUR and Protea Hotels aswell as awarded the WITS Young Alumni of the year.
I am passionate about what I do and have dedicated my life to it, I have trained staff for 20 years in over 10 countries in the world, most recently with Sanctuary Retreats which has 12 luxury lodges and camps in Africa as well as luxury boats Internationally. Two of these camps where awarded the World travel awards for the best in their respective countries.
So to cut a long story short, I know my stuff!
